EDC and the Lopez Museum partner for the BINHI Tree for the Future Book

The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) partnered with the Eugenio Lopez Foundation, Inc. (ELFI) through the Lopez Museum for the sale of its BINHI Tree for the Future book. The book chronicles the journey of the BINHI team to search and rescue 96 threatened native tree species. The partnership enables continuous reproduction of the book through sales generated through the Lopez Museum. Through the sale of the BINHI Tree for the Future book, EDC and Lopez Museum aim to educate more people about the importance of the threatened Philippine native tree species. Pictured here are Atty. BINHI is a flagship corporate social responsibility program of EDC which focuses on preservation of native trees. Released in 2016, the book chronicles the story of the EDC BINHI team’s successful nationwide search for 96 threatened native tree species. Through this partnership, the book will be reproduced, promoted, and sold through the Lopez Museum. The proceeds from the book sales will be used to continually reproduce the book.

Through the sale of the book, EDC and the Lopez Museum aim to educate more people on the value and importance of these endangered native tree species.
